Peter Dan is the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of The Bank of East Asia (China) Limited ("BEA China"), where he leads the bank’s nationwide enterprise risk management framework, credit risk underwriting, as well as operational, market, and liquidity risk management.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in commercial and wholesale banking across Greater China, Peter has played a pivotal role in steering BEA China’s risk profile through evolving macroeconomic cycles. Under his leadership, the bank has embedded climate-related risk considerations into its core risk governance architecture, institutional risk appetite frameworks, and credit policies, supporting sustainable business growth while actively safeguarding the bank against emerging climate risks.

Peter holds the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in International Business from California State Polytechnic University.
