Martin is the CFO at Zurich Insurance (Hong Kong), covering the Life and P&C segments. He has held a variety of financial and actuarial roles at Zurich Insurance, focused in the Hong Kong, Asia Pacific, UK and European markets.

Prior to Zurich Insurance, Martin held several roles at KPMG China and Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong, and previously at KPMG UK in London. While in Asia Pacific with KPMG, Martin led the insurance regulatory advisory practice, led the Hong Kong and China P&C Actuarial team, and consulted with clients on a range of topics including M&A due diligence, commercial strategy, regulatory and actuarial advice.

Martin is a member of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance and co-chairs the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) Sustainable Finance Working Group. He regularly speaks about aspects of insurance and financial services more widely

Martin has a keen interest in sustainability, climate resilience and transitional finance – and finding ways in which the financial services industry can contribute with substance and impact.
