Ir Eric CHEUNG Po-Chung is the Chief Operating Officer of CLP Power leading the generation and power grid business which provides electricity service to more than 6 million population in Hong Kong. Eric’s responsibility also includes supply chain management, safety & environment, staff training & development, project execution and other related functions.

Eric was the Senior Director – Power Systems Business Group at CLP Power before he was appointed to his present position. With over 35 years of experience in the power industry, before taking up the COO role, he had held various senior leadership positions spanning across retail & marketing, asset management, network operations and technical services.

Eric is a Director of CLP Power HK Limited and a number of other subsidiary and affiliated companies of CLP Group.

In serving the community, he is the Chairman of the Energy and Power Group of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, and a member of the Departmental Advisory Committee of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
