Cindy is the Head of Risk Management of Citibank HK Limited (CHKL). She joined Citi in 1991 and is a Risk Management professional with over 30 years of experience in Consumer Banking Industry across diverse product horizon overseeing the overall Consumer lending activities of CHKL. Leading a team of veteran risk officers to oversight and manage material and emerging risks including climate risk associating with and across the consumer credit cycle in the legal entity. She is experienced in crisis management and has managed the Bank’s portfolios to weather through multiple economic down cycles including Asian Financial Crisis, HK Bankruptcy Crisis, Global Financial Crisis and COVID pandemic. Throughout her career journey in Citi, she has participated in multiple cross country milestone projects across Asia Pacific with wide exposure in various Consumer Business. Recently, also being invited by HKMA as the co-chair of the Data Working Group sponsored by the Hong Kong Centre for Green and Sustainable Finance to facilitate the industry to identify and resolve data challenges facing in managing Climate Risk.
