Dr Wan graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of The University of Hong Kong in 2001. He became a specialist in Emergency Medicine in 2009. Currently he is the Consultant of the Accident & Emergency Department of Ruttonjee and Tang Shiu Kin Hospital, Deputy Medical Director of the Accident & Emergency Training Centre, Hospital Authority and Medical Director of the Hong Kong Fire Services Department. He has active roles in the emergency medical community in Hong Kong. He is the Immediate Past President of the Hong Kong Society for Emergency Medicine and Surgery, and the Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine. He is the course faculties of many local and international training courses, and he has abundant teaching experience in his clinical areas of interest such as prehospital medicine, resuscitation science, trauma care and simulation-based training.
