Oral Presentation Guidelines

Please take note of the following guidelines to ensure a smooth experience for all presenters:
- Time for each presentation is 15 minutes in total - 12 minutes for presentation, 3 minutes for Q&A.
- You will NOT be able to use your own computer during your presentation.
- Presentation files must be uploaded to the presentation computer at the registration desk/ Help desk outside the plenary room (LT-J) during morning registration period, lunch breaks or coffee breaks before your assigned session, with the assistance of our student helpers.
- Your presentation file should be in PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx) or PDF format, saved on a USB flash drive. The preferred aspect ratio is 16:9.
- Please ensure your file is compatible with standard presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader).
- Please name your file in this format "Presentation date_First name_Last name"
- We recommend uploading your file as early as possible to ensure a smooth transition between speakers.
- If your presentation file includes videos, sound, or any special formats, kindly notify the organizing team in advance to ensure proper setup.
- All presentations must be conducted in English.
- We plan to upload presentation files (in PDF format) to the workshop website after the event. If you prefer to upload an edited version of your file, or do not wish to have your file shared on the website, please notify us by email at CPCMWorkshop@ust.hk by 20 August 2025.
