Ir Ken Yeung is now a Chief Building Services Engineer in Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People’s Republic of China. In his over 30 years of services in the Government, Ir Yeung worked in various posts responsible for the design and construction management of building services installations of government building projects, promotion and enforcement works of energy efficiency, and the planning, design and construction management of district cooling systems for various new development areas etc. Ir Yeung is now leading one of the divisions in the Building Services Branch of the ArchSD to oversee the building services installations of a vast portfolio of new projects of different natures such as office buildings, hospitals, data centre, theatre and public mortuary etc. He is also particularly responsible for developing and steering the overall direction of departmental policies and strategies in the aspects of Green Building, Climate Change and Carbon Neutrality in ArchSD.
