Christy Yeung Head (Fintech and Green Finance Projects) The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Ms. Christy Yeung is the Head of Fintech and Green Finance Projects of HKUST, where she oversees the theme-based research projects and leads the talent development initiatives and related research in the areas of fintech and green finance for the School of Business and Management.

Christy is a seasoned education administrator, researcher, and project management consultant. She has over 10 years of experience in external and in-house consulting, managing and delivering complex and large-scale projects. Christy has been working in the higher education sector for over 15 years, where she has worked with university and secondary school students on various educational and IT projects. She started the Summer Institute and International Summer Exchange Program for HKUST in 2010 and 2011 respectively, which created a unique and enriching learning experience for senior high school students in Hong Kong and university students from around the world.

Prior to her current role, Christy founded an IT consulting firm that assisted many university students with strong interests in technology to develop innovative IT products. She now focuses on helping students acquire skills and knowledge in fintech, green finance and ESG to fill the talent gaps for Hong Kong’s financial sector.
